Our government has reached an incredible milestone: over two million doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered.
Ontario leads the county in the total number of vaccines administered, and as of March 27, over three-quarters of Ontario residents aged 80 or older have received at least one dose. One third of residents aged 75 to 79 have now received their first shot.
This achievement is a true Team Ontario effort, and is thanks to the incredible work of our public health units, vaccination sites and other health care partners.
Ontario is ready. We have the capacity. We just need a stable and reliable supply of vaccines from the federal government.
